Artist Statement: “I wanted my piece to be fun and full of life. I knew I wanted an abstract design that integrated elements that symbolize Manassas. I included the LOVE and HOPE sign and train station, a beautiful landmark in Old Town Manassas. I also included hashtags such as #ourmanassas and a little sign that said “City of Manassas”. Overall, I just wanted to paint something bright and colorful, something that catches your eye as you are walking by.”
