Artist Katie Kehoe to Lead Environmental Awareness Walk in Alexandria

Artist Katie Kehoe will lead an interactive walk along the Potomac River in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia on May 5th. The walk addresses environmental degradation and climate change in urban communities and will include scientists, and historians, to provide additional context. Alexandria’s riverfront is particularly susceptible to flooding, and Katie’s performative walk have taken place at vulnerable locations all along the North Atlantic seaboard.

This event is part of a national art & science initiative organized by City as Living Lab, a project of the environmental artist Mary Miss.
