Artist Statement: “I knew I was going to be working with the theme of heroes for this mural. I have always been a cartoonist, so I drew fun, friendly, and approachable characters that the public would relate to and enjoy looking at. This mural is a celebration of those who have helped get us through the COVID-19 pandemic and a representation of the diverse people that make up our community.”
