DESIGNER STATEMENT: My name is Sebastian Gallegos, and I am a graphic design major with strong interests in typography and illustration. The main goal for my senior book project was to create an informative, functional book that can help other people with getting involved in type design and learning to make fonts. I think that custom typography is a very fulfilling, useful skill that many designers could benefit from knowing a little bit about, and even if they don't go on to make commercial fonts, their typography skills could still improve tremendously.
