BA New Media with Graphic Design Minor

ARTIST STATEMENT: My work consists of a transition between visual animation, illustration to graphic design. For my senior project I employed my proficiencies to develop a work that illustrate the combination of these different media. For me seeking the imaginable is transparent but not impossible. As a visual artist and designer, I am passionate about creating work that builds a world. I once read that art is not design nor design is art, but when the two bridges meet, it becomes the imaginable. Taking on the imaginable challenges me to grow to connect myself to a visual aesthetic and language. I strive to succeed because I grew up with a mindset of wanting and believing.
